I was surprised to see the SDA News Bulletin from May because it focused on penalty rates.
ReplyDeleteNow I think that the Abbott/Liberal policy is appalling there is nothing worth having in it so I agree with that statement
BUT I remember when we used to get penalty rates on Saturdays and at night any day of the week. Our union said that it would be OK to give those penalties away and accept a pay rise instead.
I don't want to give away anything, I work too hard for that. Maybe we should be fighting to get back some decent conditions. After all Coles, Woolworths etc make big profits out of our labour.
